Join Aspire Advocates for an insightful breakout session where we’ll explore the transformative Recovery High School project, a groundbreaking public institution that offers young people in recovery a unique opportunity to earn their high school diploma while receiving essential academic support and recovery-focused services.
Additionally, we’ll introduce the Youth Advisory Board (YAB), a dynamic group of young individuals ages 14-26 who are committed to shaping the policies, programs, and services that directly impact their lives and communities. The YAB is dedicated to amplifying the voices of youth in advocating for:
- Improved mental healthcare resources
- Reducing stigma around mental health challenges
- Expanding access to high-quality, affordable, youth-centered care
We’ll also dive into our efforts on substance use prevention, highlighting strategies and initiatives designed to empower youth and build resilience. This session is an opportunity to learn about impactful programs that support both academic success and holistic well-being.
